we took zoe to the vet the other day. she weighs 93 lb now! i watched the scale go up & up and i felt this surge of pride, as if i personally made her huge.
steve stayed home from work today so he told me to email him if there were any errands i needed him to run. i sent him the following list:
1. buy corn on the cob for grilling
2. test camera batteries
3. build us a patio
4. go to CDepot and try to find me a copy of Paul McCartney's Flaming Pie album
5. teach Zoe not to bark at children
6. make ice tea
7. bring me lunch at work
8. find me a new job
9. make friday arrive faster
i was only serious about the first two, but steve showed up at work with lunch & Flaming Pie. what an awesome husband.

monday evening might be a possibility...but i say that without having any idea how long it takes to drive from franklin to CH. we need to be at the airport around 8:30/9:00 but if we could have dinner first, that would be rad.
so no chance of a friday morning rendezvous at elmo's? our flight gets in at 7:50 in the AM.

I was going to suggest Friday morning Elmo's as well. Hopefully we can get back in time for dinner Monday as well... We can have breakfast Monday at Sunset and just leave from there... make it back in plenty of time (and plenty o'toole)
Here's a plan--why don't you call me when you get to Elmo's on Friday, then I can see how work is going and possibly leave for an hour or so. Then Monday you can call me when you're back in town and we can try to squeeze in dinner before your flight. Yes?
