we went grocery shopping at harris teeter. The Teet. we got new VIC cards. sundrop is on sale, 3 fridge packs for $10. w00t. they sell beer at grocery stores here. i'd forgotten that. we went to whole foods to pick up a few hard-to-find things. about a year ago, mikl sent me this picture from his phone:
it's the outside of whole foods, where you'd expect to see signs like "deli" or "pharmacy". i finally got to see this for myself. penguins is the name of their coffee shop/cafe section. there are penguin statues & pictures of penguins all over the walls & counters. i wish i could take pictures inside. it looks so much like something i would do that i'm amazed someone else came up with the idea. penguin cafe...awesome.
i took steve to weaver street market and he was very impressed with the food, atmosphere and people-watching. i was pleased to find liz lovely cookies there.
