pre-email, i was quite a prolific letter writer. and thankfully, some of you were too. i have an overflowing box of notes, postcards, etc. under my bed that's always good for a laugh. the correspondence from mikl circa 1996 is some of my favorite stuff. the letters from epcot got increasingly wacky until they were more picture than prose. during our franklin photo exchange (which has yet to be completed...ahem), i was inspired to put some of my favorite mikl crawford doodles together in a collage. he has given me permission to share it here. just click on the hotdog:

now that's what i call fine art. i might frame it and hang it on my wall. i still need a copy of mikl's legendary masterpiece, "If You Give A Mouse Some LSD" but alas, it's owned by another collector.

Sweet - I remember when I was cool! Good times... peachy times :)
I really love the crinkle cut french fry and her sensible black bag! That is a professional drawing! Maybe featured in the next disney movie... maybe they could do a cutesy interpretation of fast food nation...
that is a beautiful idea.
and let me just say that i'm glad you posted. i was starting to think that only one person was subjecting themselves to my ramblings. (no offense, mikl. you are an audience unto yourself and i would still write even if you were my only reader.)
tis ok
i was always a fan of crinkle cut as well
