this is a combo of my pictures and mikl's, with commentary for kate's benefit. first, here's a nice group shot of my buddies:
i like that i caught linus licking his lips and he looks kinda snarly.
linus cornered a mouse in the living room and joel & i managed to catch it in some tupperware.
i let him go down by the creek. he burrowed under some leaves and sat there, comatose. i hope he got his bearings eventually.

meanwhile, linus ran across the creek, under the electric fence and chased after a cow. the cow was not pleased and chased back. here's linus retreating from the angry cow:

i didn't realize it until joel said something, but this was only the second time he's ever been to franklin. here's a before & after:
