it's christmas.
christmas at a small, disorganized mom & pop company means 10-hour work days and a constant, nagging feeling that i'm forgetting something.
but there have also been some good moments that remind me why i like working there. last year, tommy made a cd of offensive holiday music called No Presents For Christmas and gave copies as gifts. katie & i both got one, so it has a regular rotation in the warehouse cd player. listening to it always gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. how many people can listen to Eazy-E's Merry Muthafuckin' Christmas with their boss? i'm one of the lucky few. but my favorite track is Santa Claus Has Got the AIDS.
oh, i'm going straight to hell.
but i need things like that to get me through the daily grind of holiday consumerism and the stress of hosting christmas for my in-laws. yikes.
merry muthafuckin' christmas, everybody.
